Cattle unchanged

Quotes for prime cattle are unchanged at 258-260p for U3 grades.  Cows are also unchanged at 210-220p, mostly 216-220p. 

Hoggets 320-330p

Quotes for hoggets have dropped by 10p from the end of last week to 320-330p.  Spring lambs have also eased slightly to 380p, although not all plants are looking for lambs.  Mart prices have also slipped. 

Latest mart prices (p/kg):

·        Donemana (Sat 12 Apr):  hoggets 315p, spring lambs 350p

·        Swatragh (Sat 12 Apr):  hoggets 270-302p, spring lambs 350-361p

·        Crumlin:  hoggets 270-295p, spring lambs 375-398p
