Cattle unchanged 

Quotes for steers and heifers are again unchanged at 260-262p for U3 grades.  Most plants indicated that there are a few more cattle coming out as some producers look to clear out their cattle sheds.  Cows are also unchanged at 210-224p. 

Hoggets 290p, Spring lambs 350p

Quotes for hoggets have dropped by 20-30p to 290p/kg.  Spring lambs have fallen by 20p to 350p.  The mart trade was fairly steady over the weekend and on Monday.

·        Donemana (Sat 26 Apr):  hoggets 277p, spring lambs 382p

·        Omagh (Sat 26 Apr):  hoggets 229-271p, spring lambs 310-333p

·        Swatragh (Sat 26 Apr):  hoggets 260-290p, spring lambs 330-357p

·        Crumlin:  spring lambs 340-362p
