Members of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee

The Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC) supports the Board in their responsibilities for issues of risk, control and governance, by reviewing the comprehensiveness of assurances in meeting the Board and Accounting Officer’s assurance needs, and reviewing the reliability and integrity of these assurances.

Mr Sean McKeever has been Committee Chair since November 2023.

The Committee is attended also by the Northern Ireland Audit Office (NIAO) as external auditor, representatives of Internal Audit (DAERA IA), representatives of the sponsor body (DAERA), and senior members of LMC staff.
