LMC has been appointed by DAERA to act as the agent for statutory deadweight cattle price reporting in Northern Ireland. LMC receives weekly reports from each of the deadweight cattle processors currently meeting the criteria to report the deadweight cattle prices in NI. LMC consolidates the data using bespoke software to calculate cattle prices for the entire region. These prices are subsequently reported to the red meat industry and distributed to our stakeholders through regular communications such as the LMC Bulletin and Weekly Market Update published in the agricultural press in NI.
